We did it. The Good Dog and I went out after work and dug in the garden.
The soil was dark and loamy and ready to receive the tiny peas – and then Harley made sure that the soil was tapped down adequately.

Or perhaps moles – one cannot be sure, but it is always a mystery how they burrow under the deep snow and survive on the tubers and roots left from last year’s crops. And the sky overhead – brilliant and deepening as we welcome a full moon …
The rhubarb is emerging, as well as the day lilies. Spring cannot be far behind!
