peas and fiber

It was a long day – it began earlier than usual and I really am tired …. an admitted student Open House Day, oye.  But the good news – peas emerging in the garden!

ImageSometimes you just have to put your faith in something bigger than yourself.  While we have peas, we also have traces of the Eater-of-the-peas …

ImageI want to write about this wonderful online retail shop that I’ve discovered, but I’m afraid that if I do, every quilter will rush in and buy up everything!

ImageCias Palette.com – she has some of my old favorites and her shipping is insanely FAST!

ImageAnd she sends her goods wrapped in pretty paper with stickers AND – this is a first for me people, she sent me that lovely little polka dot scrap just because.  I love her.

One Response to peas and fiber

  1. Hi Jody! So good to hear from you and see you beautiful fabric and projects. I am working on a very challenging project called Norwegian White Wedding Gloves with size 0 needles and luscious cloud like yarn, made from merino and bamboo silk blend. I am excited to try and recreate a historical pattern. I really love making gloves now and I owe that to you and all of your ardent encouragement to start learning socks. It opened up a whole new worlds of fibers and patterns. I especially enjoy doing lace patterns now. I hope you have a wonderful evening ahead and rest well. Until next time… With Love, Delisa 🙂 Happy Quilting!
