the bucket list quilt

It’s very overcast today and I’m afraid that I won’t be able to give this quilt a bath before it leaves here.  I like to line dry anything with a wool batting, but the raindrops are threatening.  I’ve been extra cautious  – keeping this quilt in a bin even as I bound the edges because Harley’s coat is massive.  It finds its way into everything!

So, I’m really happy with the outcome and confess that I will miss this piece (sniff).  Kristin did such a wonderful job in the quilting – she brought it all together.  I hope that it will give the lucky winner much comfort.  I haven’t figured out how to offer our raffle tickets online – so if you want one maybe you can email me.  The drawing is Saturday afternoon (yeah, I KNOW, I KNOW – nothing like cutting it close!)

Adeline’s sweater is nearing completion!  It’s been a busy summer.

It is stunning, Jody! Your details of inspiring words, happy bunting and playful border, everything looks perfect! Quilting compliments it so well! Whoever receives it will greatly enjoy this quilt.
