sheep and wool

Because the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool event always arrives on my birthday weekend, I feel that it belongs to me.

It makes me happy that so many knitters come and stand in long lines for MY event.  This year was exceptionally wonderful with weather unsurpassed.  The sugar maples were glorious and the vendors did not disappoint.  But can I say – for some unexplained reason, I could not get my knitting mojo on.  And I had money to burn!!!!  Still, after many passes through my favorite halls, I was without a single purchase.

I made friends.

I giggled.  A lot.

I made two purchases  – yak and lovely woolen felt blocks.  Maybe I need to go back tomorrow.
