a finish, a start,a turning of the clock

DSCN6923What does a quilt back, covered with paper pieces, lounging in a plastic bin indicate?  A FINISHED QUILT TOP!  All, that is, except for the hours ahead which will be spent removing the paper from the quilt.  Forceps and a seam ripper will get the job done.DSCN6922It’s time to put the pumpkins away and say goodbye to Halloween.  This also means that it is time to plant the garlic.  Our weather changed overnight and we have 40’s … brrrr.DSCN6921Whenever I finish a project I give myself permission to start another.  My attention span is pretty ridiculous – old age?  DSCN6925DSCN6924This is an ‘I SPY’ quilt for Adeline – one with a twist!  I’m calling it ‘I Spy Pink Pinwheels’! I hope that she enjoys it as much as I have creating it.  The I Spy blocks are 2″ and the pinwheels are made by dividing a 6 1/4″ square into quarters.  If there is a faster way to construct it, I don’t know what it is.  DSCN6929Did you remember to turn back your clocks?
